  • General Assembly and Election of New Board was carried out (September 28, 2024)-

 

  • Oral health Education and Fluoride application Program (December 29, 2024)

One day oral health education program was conducted in PAM Community and Sports center. All the PAM children were given basic knowledge about dental diseases and how to maintain oral health. Prof  Basanta K Shrestha, Chairperson  -PAM, Dr Aagya Pradhanang, Dr Anusha Century, Dr Abhisikha and Dr Kuber participated as educators. The program was coordinated by Miss Merina, the board member of PAM.

  • Basic art and line drawing course (January 12 -17, 2025)- 

PAM organized “Basic art and line drawing course” for PAM Children in collaboration with Arupan Art Gallery. Training was conducted by Senior Artist Mr Ramesh Khanal from Arupan Art Gallery, Kathmandu Nepal.

      

  • International Women Day celebration (March 8,2024) –

PAM Celebrated International Women’s Day in collaboration with WATCH. WATCH and PAM collectively  organized a rally in Nagarjun Municipality to create awareness regarding Women’s right.

  • Music Training begins for PAM Children (April 1, 2025)

Music training to the PAM children is started from April 1, 2025. The  training will be conducted every day for two weeks and then continued every Saturday. Chairperson-PAM, Dr Basanta’s family members and friends contributed money to buy musical instruments and pay tuition fess to music teachers. Music teachers from Kathmandu Music Academy – Mr  Nitesh and Nikesh- are working hard to train PAM children.

  • Dental Fluoride application program (5th April, 2025)

Prisoners Assistance Mission (PAM) Oral health team in collaboration with DSSN Volunteers conducted a dental camp at PAM. Dr. Sandip Chaudhary, Dr. Monika Kumal, Dr. Archana Acharya, Sita Ghimire, Niraj Dahal, Shobha Yadav and Daibhagya Raj Awasthi volunteered to conduct oral screenings, oral hygiene instruction, brushing technique demonstrations, and fluoride application.

  • PAM became team Champion in NECOS International Judo Championship (April 18, 2025) for  the seventh time

NECOS organized International Judo Championship tournament from April 16-18th, 2025 at Kathmandu.  In this tournament judokas from different countries like France, Russia, India, Kazakhstan, Bhutan  and 30 clubs from Nepal participated in the tournament. There were a total of 23 weight categories – 12 weight categories of male and 11 weight categories of female. PAM was declared the best team as the judokas from PAM bagged 11 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze medals.

  • Mr Shyam Kajee Shrestha felicitating medal winners from PAM in 7th Necos Judo champion tournament (April 26, 2025)

Mr Shyam K Shrestha from USA felicitated all the PAM judo  medalists of 7th NECOS judo tournament. He presented token of love and appreciation to the medalists. Silver coin to gold medalists and cash prizes to other medalists were handed over to the children to felicitate them. He also felicitated the Judo Coach Mr Surya Narayan Shrestha for his continuous hard work training theses children
