PROPOSAL AND REPORT WRITING HANDSON COURSE (MAY 11-17, 2025)-
A 7-day-long hands-on course on “Proposal and Report Writing” was conducted by Prisoners Assistance Mission (PAM) at PAM center, Raniban, Nagarjun, Kathmandu, Nepal. This hands-on course was organized in collaboration with ZLS FFD with a view of enhancing capacity of its Nepal partners.
The participants were- Mr. Mahesh Aryal from Organic venture Nepal (OVN), Laxmi Dumaru from Wisdom English School, Bhaktapur (WES), Dhana Khanal and Shila Wagle from Women Foundation Nepal-Boudha (WFN), Punya Mainali and Swosti Sapkota from Samajik Sip Bikash Udhyog, Kathmandu ( SSIBU), Mr. Ashish from Purnima Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd, Nepalgunj (PMCLW), Raja Sahil Chadimar from Rural Economic Social Improvement Centre , Nepalgunj(RESIC), Dr Krishna B Shrestha and Laxman Shrestha from Prisoners Assistance Mission, Kathmandu (PAM). Mr. Surya N Shrestha, CEO PAM and Miss Parbati Shrestha, Ex PAM Treasurer were observers. Mr. Chhabindra Shrestha from PAM was the rapporteur.
The facilitators were Dr Basu Subedi and Prem Kumari Budhathoki.
The program was coordinated by PAM President DR Basanta K Shrestha
The program was inaugurated jointly by PAM President Dr Basanta K Shrestha, Chief Guests Dr Narayan K Shrestha (EX PAM President) and Ward Member, Nagrjun-1.
By the end of the training, each organization developed a proposal.

CLOSING CEREMONY (62May 17)-
Certificates were distributed to all the participants and letter of appreciation to the facilitators and the coordinator.
Certificate distribution was followed by Musical program–
- PAM Music Teachers MR Nikesh and Nitesh presented tunes of English and Nepali songs in flute and guitar.
- Violinist Mr. Yeti Raj presented classical melody and Nepali folk tunes in violin accompanied by tabla from Music Teacher Mr. Nabin Neupane.
- PAM president played violin as well as presented a Nepali song.
- At the end all the PAM Children, Board members, Particiants and facilitators participated in dance to make farewell memorable.
